About Us

Why we started a Children's Consignment business.

Going Going Gone Online Consignments began in 2005 as a way to provide family, friends and friends-to-be with a convenient service to sell their high-quality, new and gently-used products online. We sold their items online on such venues as eBay, Amazon & Etsy. We worked with several non-profit organizations, including The Christian Center, and over one hundred private individuals. We worked hard and loved what we were doing. Our eBay Seller ID is: GoingGoingGone15. We still sell for others on eBay on a limited basis.

Often friends and family would ask if we ever had sales locally to sell items for our consignors. The idea of selling for others a couple times a year right here in Central Illinois began to take shape and here we are. Our goal is to consistently produce successful, seasonal sales for our consignors that offer a unique, family-friendly environment for you to buy, sell and enjoy!

Going Going Gone Seasonal Consignments of IL runs a semi-annual children's sale specializing in name brand children's items of the highest quality. We have 2 local sales a year in each of our host cities. Each local sale has clothing and accessories appropriate for the coming year as well as sports equipment and apparel. You will always find a great selection of toys, furniture, strollers, baby/child gear at both sales. We know how hard it is to find top quality brand name clothing at affordable prices.

Sellers receive 70% profit within one week of the end of the sale. Sellers who volunteer more than 12 hours at the sale will receive an extra 5% of their sales for a total of 75%. Come join us for this fun event!

Now there's another solution for you to consider instead of hosting a garage sale, listing each item online or using a store-front consignment store. Thank you for considering Going Going Gone Seasonal Consignments of IL!

Charity

Proud Supporter of Local Families & Local Charities

In these challenging times, everyone is trying to cut costs and save money. Our consignment sales are designed to help the people in our community do just that. We provide a means for you to sell lightly-used, quality children's items, to buy high-quality items at a great price, and to fulfill the demands of mothers and children in need of clothing and supplies.

Going Going Gone will be donating all unsold items (either marked for donation by the Consignor or not picked up prior to the end of the sale) to local charities that support families and children in need. Infant clothes will be donated to the Zambia Mission Fund. Its local coordinator, Dr. Allen Neese of Cardinal Medicine in Peoria, travels to Africa annually bringing life-saving supplies to the children of Zambia and surrounding areas. All other items will be donated to The Dream Center of Central Illinois. The Dream Center runs The HOPE Store and redistributes the donations they receive to anyone in need within the Peoria/Bloomington-Normal community. Read more about these wonderful charities at  www.DreamCenterPeoria.com & www.ZambiaMission.org.

Thanks to our generous consignors we can impact the lives of many and are able to help several local families get through tough times. If you know of a family that could benefit from a donation of clothing, please contact Going Going Gone by emailing Lisa at Info@GoingGoingGoneIL.com.
